We are open 7 days a week

  • Summer season (29th March – 1st September) 10am to 5pm, last admission 4pm
  • Winter season (2nd September – 28th March) 10am to 4pm, last admission 3:30pm

Do I need to book tickets?

No, but we would recommend pre-booking tickets in advance to avoid disappointment, you can also save up to 30% on tickets when pre-booking. You can book tickets here.

How do I change my booking?

Bookings are non-refundable for further information you can call us on 01337 258214 or email us at info@fifezoo.co.uk

Please note: As of April 2021 there is a £5 admin fee for re-booking tickets.

What animals are at the zoo?

Where is the zoo?

Fife Zoo is located just 3 miles from Ladybank in Fife, on the B937. For a full list of directions please click here.

Is the zoo wheelchair / pushchair friendly?

Yes. All of our paths are wheelchair & pushchair friendly.

How big is the zoo?

We’re only small at the moment. Currently there is around an 0.3 acres open to the public. Click here to see the animals at the zoo.

Can I bring my dog?

Unfortunately we don’t allow dogs into the zoo. If you have an assistance dog, please call us on 01337 258214 or email info@fifezoo.co.uk prior to your visit. As we care for the welfare of your pets we ask you not to leave your dog in your car. The Scottish SPCA / Police will be called in instances of perceived suffering. We do welcome dogs in Wildlands Cafe & Bistro.

Is there a restaurant?

Yes! Wildlands Cafe & Bistro is open. You can view see all our food and drink options here.

Is there a gift shop?

Yes! Our Gift Shop is open. You can also shop online here.

Is the outdoor playground open?

Yes! Our outdoor playground is located next to Wildlands Cafe & Bistro.

Can I book an Animal Encounter?

Yes! You can book an animal encounter on our website here.

Is the soft play open?

No. Unfortunately we lost our soft play area in a fire in 2020. We do have plans to put the soft play area back, but currently it is not open. You can find out more here.
